Top tips to reduce your carbon footprint as a visitor

• Visit the area using public transport (bus, train) taking advantage of the money saving Derbyshire Wayfarer tickets.
• During your visit walk or cycle whenever possible.
• If car journeys are necessary use a car with low emissions or look at car sharing if a group of you are visiting the national park.
• Use businesses that display the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark to show they support the best environmental practices, as well as contributing to the conservation of the national park.
• Use restaurants and accommodation that serve locally produced food. Look out for the Peak District Cuisine logo.
