tips to reduce your carbon footprint as a visitor
- Visit
the area using public transport (bus, train) taking advantage of the money saving

tickets.
- During your visit walk or cycle
whenever
possible.
- If car journeys are necessary
use a car with low emissions or look at car sharing if a group of you are visiting the national park.
- Use
businesses that display the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark to show they
support the best environmental practices, as well as contributing to the conservation of
the national park.
- Use restaurants and accommodation that serve locally produced
food. Look out for the Peak District Cuisine logo.
- Check
