Other walks

A number of guided walks with rangers take place each year which are suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users.  Contact the Peak District National Park Authority Ranger Service on 01629 816290 or search for guided walks.

Access Peak

Access Peak is a series of ten short films showing how wheelchair users and people with other mobility problems can enjoy the Peak District.  John Harris, 63 and a former paralympian, presents the films using his own wheelchair, handcranked bikes, a powered wheelchair and an abseil rope to experience the national park.

A DVD has been produced and will available to buy from visitor  centres in 2009.  The videos can also be seen online at http://resources.peakdistrict.gov.uk/accesspeak
