Car park and picnic site set in woodland next to Langsett Reservoir on the boundary of the National Park, close to Stocksbridge and Penistone.

The tarmac surfaced car park is fairly smooth, with a number of spaces reserved for disabled people close to the building.

There are picnic tables on grass within the car park; however there is a 100mm wooden edging strip around the grass.

The toilets are about 40m away on the far side of the building with a 3m tarmac ramp down with a gradient of 1:8.5 with handrail; a toilet suitable for disabled people is provided in both the gents and the ladies. The toilets are open from dawn until dusk.
