The Peak District National Park Authority is exploring new ways of helping busineses to use the special qualities of the Peak District and benefit the local economy.

New Environmental Economy Programme

The New Environmental Economy Programme (NEE) ran from 2002 to March 2008 and offered grants to businesses developing new products and services based on using the high quality environment of the Peak District as a business asset.

Working with and learning from other businesses

The NEE programme was jointly funded by the Peak District National Park Authority, Derby and Derbyshire Economic Partnership and the European Regional Development Fund.
