Golden Valley Caravan and Camping Park

The Golden Valley Caravan and Camping Park is located in a secluded woodland just five minutes from the town of Ripley.  The park is also close to a number of attractions that include the Midland Railway Museum which is just 5 minutes away.  The park is also surrounded by beautiful Peak District countryside which includes rolling hills and meandering rivers.

The park has a number of facilities that include a reception area that has staff with a good knowledge of the local area, as well as a bar located on the first floor of the reception building.  There are two separate toilet/shower blocks for men and women, with hot showers available to visitors free of charge.  The women’s shower block at the bottom end of the site also has a bath.  The site itself spans 26 acres and has a number of nature trails which cut through ancient woodland.  Other facilities available on site include a fishing pond, a children’s play area as well as a gym and Jacuzzi.

Prices vary depending on the accommodation visitors intend to travel with them to the site.  Caravans with hookups as well as motor homes begin at £22 per night in the low season to £27.50 per night in the high season which consists of the summer months.  Super pitches are also available which include more space, electricity, and drainage, costing £25 per night in the low season and £27.50 per night in the high season.  Pitches for tents are available and cost £15 per night in the low season and £20 per night in the high season.  A minimum stay of three days also applies on bank holiday weekends.
