Rivendale Caravan and Leisure Park

Rivendale Caravan and Leisure Park

The Rivendale Caravan and Leisure Park is located close to the town of Buxton and is only 100 meters from the Tissington Trail.  The Tissington Trail is popular among cyclists and is one of the Peak District Park authority’s traffic-free routes which can be used by just cyclists, walkers and horse riders.

The campsite itself spans a 37-acre site and offers a range of different pitches for both tents are caravans, some of which have electricity.  Water is also available for free throughout the site.  Visitors have the option of either bringing their own tent/caravan or alternatively, they can rent a yurt on site, which has a wood burning stove.  There are also a number of Scandinavian style hot tubs available for an extra fee.  A restaurant is available on site and is built within the main club building.  The main club building has floor heating as well as a number of showers, toilets and a launderette.

The Rivendale caravan and leisure park is located between Ashbourne and Buxton, with public transport links being available from both towns.  Alternatively, visitors traveling on foot or by bicycle can access the park from Cromford station which allows access to the park via the High Peak Trail.
