Visit Conkers

Conkers is an award-winning attraction located right on the edge of the Peak District National Park.  Conkers provides a range of indoor and outdoor exhibits aimed at all of the family.  There are four separate discovery zones within the centre, that consist of an Enchanted Forest Play area, a treetop walk, a moving bridge as well as a journey through the skies.

The Discovery and Waterside centre provides visitors with a number of indoor attractions that include the enchanted forest.  The Enchanted Forest is a tree top adventure which extends to up to 6 meters in height, with children being able to see a number of mythical creatures from fairies to trolls.  There is also an interactive floor exhibition, as well as a simulated tree top walk, which aims to teach visitors secrets about the UK’s woodland throughout the year.  The final attraction available in the Waterside centre is the Billy Bonkers play area which spans three stories.  The play area is aimed at younger children and can be used for a small extra fee.

Conker’s also has an onsite restaurant called the olive tree located in the Discovery centre, as well a second restaurant offering outside dining called the Water’s Edge Café.  A carvery is also available on Sundays, and can be used by both patrons of the centre as well as the general public.
